McDonald, Aretha

Aretha McDonald was born in Toledo on December 19, 1888, and spent her early years in East and North Toledo. She left Toledo in 1915 and returned in 1923. In this interview, she tells of growing up in Toledo, her work, and of the changes she saw when she returned to Toledo in 1923. Mrs. McDonald died on December 27, 1986 in Sylvania, Ohio.
