Description
Notation in the hand of Samuel May indicates that Mrs. Webb of Belfast was the writer of the address.This broadside is an appeal to "the pious women of Ulster" for contributions to the Boston and Philadelphia anti-slavery fairs and is accompanied by an explanation of the differences between the Liberty and Garrison parties. The laws penalizing the teaching of colored people are quoted in full.
