Records collected by the director of the Mississippi Sovereignty Commission between August and September 1966. The file contains memorandums on individuals and organizations the commission investigated, letters to the commission director, reports of commission investigations, and a resolution supporting the fight of governor George Wallace against the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare.The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata.
