To the delight of the audience, the author of the editorial was present at the lectureSee Call No. Ms.A.13.1 p.11d for a copy of the Feb. 5, 1851, editorial in the Portland Evening News, which was mentioned and enclosed in this letterSee Call No. Ms.A.1.1 p.11c for a note by George Thompson with instructions to buy $5 dollars worth of papers; this note may have been enclosed with this letter
