The Division of Negro Education Newspaper Clippings series contains assorted newspaper clippings and small publications covering people and events during the time of segregation in North Carolina. The clippings largely cover the 1950's and are mostly pulled from newspapers published in Durham, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, and Greensboro. The topic surrounding the fight for segregation and desegregation in schools is heavily featured in the series.
