Description

The Ribbon Panel depicts many present day phrases as well as past trendy words. There are four fabric hearts; one with printing, one with a frog, flowers and rainbow, the third has rick-rack sewn on it and the fourth is plain, cut from taffeta. A possible frog is in the upper right corner, arms on his head and a huge red tongue sticking out of its mouth. The lower left corner has a red rose with green leaves around it, and the bottom right corner has the name of perhaps the originator, her address and a personal note of thanks to Justine Merritt.. Each corner has four ties to attach it to another panel.*Inscription on a red heart: Truth, Knowledge, Justice, Peace *Inscriptions around the left, top and right sides of the panel beginning at the bottom left corner: Babies, Towels, Barbe, Fish, Rain, Grass, Eurythmics, Proms, Chocolate, Snoopy, Angels, Making Love, Frienship, Leaves, Mom and Dad, Duran Duran, Birds, Ice Cream, Chickens, Teddy Bears, Bumblebees, Windjammers, Hope, Brotherhood,Roses, He Man, Flight *Inscriptions on the next frow: Waterfalls, Chamber Music, Wedding Receptions, Buck Rogers, Dolls, Howard Jones, The Taj Mahal, Neighborhood Barbecues, Plums, Tube socks, Douglas Adams, Home Movies, Orchids, Brownies, Coconut, Sun Tan Lotion, Oranges, Yellow Submarine *Inscription scattered around the panel: Chuci E.
