Collection of the Scottish Rite Masonic Museum & Library, Lexington, Massachusetts. MA 130.002A letter from Garrett Lawson Taylor to Jephtha Lodge, No. 11. Dated February 26, 1918. In this letter, Taylor, a resident of Brooklyn, New York, describes conditions on board the U.S.S. Leviathan, a World War I troop transport ship, during its first voyage to Liverpool, England. Taylor, a member of Jephtha Lodge, wishes to clear up a misunderstanding in regards to his membership dues and reports on meeting European Masons while on leave in Europe.
