Description

Title devised by cataloger. In this handwritten copy of a letter to William Lloyd Garrison, Arthur Tappan praises Garrison's pamphlet (possibly his "Thoughts on African Colonization") and advises him to send copies to "Mr. Havens ... with instructions about the price &c." He also tells Garrison he will pay to print 100 copies, taking 10 for himself, while Garrison can "send the 90 to whomsoever you think best." Tappan recommends Garrison send his pamphlets to "Presidents and Professors of Colleges & Seminaries" so that they can be placed "in the reading-rooms of these institutions."
