MA 230.001A letter from the committee of the Inter-State Conference of Knights Templars to the Prince Hall Knights Templars of Kansas. Dated about 1908. In this letter, the committee reports that Grand Commandery Knights Templar of the Jurisdiction of Illinois and Iowa will celebrate their Silver Jubilee at the Annual Conclave. The Knights Templar of the Jurisdiction of Illinois and Iowa will also arrange for an inter-state conference of Knights Templar to ascertain “the true status of The Order among our people” and to bring all “Commanderies in closer relationship.” Concludes by requesting the recipient’s presence at the conference.
