Poster produced by the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) and the Canadian Labour Congress with an illustration by Denise Maxwell and design by Joss Maclennan. The poster background is white. An illustration of a multi-colored grid sits in the middle of the poster. Within the grid are words like "unity" and "freedom" along with Adinkra symbols of the Asante people of Ghana, West Africa. Over the grid is a purple Adinkra symbol which has Harriet Tubman's face within it. In black text the word "African" is above the illustration and "Heritage" is below.
