Description

They are holding signs that read, "Save Our Land / Damn the Klans" and "Black Power." Both women had been involved in the civil rights movement since they were children. (The Klan members marched from Selma to Montgomery with the intention of burning a cross in front of the Capitol, but they were stopped by police outside of Montgomery.)
