Action was planned against Torrance developer Don Wilson after he cancelled the application of African Americans Mr. and Mrs. Odis Jackson to purchase a $31,250 home, saying his check had insufficient funds. Odis Jackson, a lawyer, eventually gave up on his effort to buy a house in an all-white Torrance tract. Photo date: July 11, 1963.
