From left to right: Gail Gillespie, Antonion Williams, Dale Stacey, George Carothers, Raymond Petway. In 1964, Hume-Fogg was the first public high school in Nashville to desegregate its sports teams. Located on Broadway at Eighth Avenue, Hume Fogg High School is the oldest public high school in Nashville.
