Description

This is a program for an evening performance by Clancy's Minstrels. The program included a clog exercise, a humorous lecture, multiple skits as well as songs and dances. Clancy's Minstrels were a Zanesville, Ohio, organization that formed in the mid-1870s. Minstrel shows were an American form of stage performance popularized during the 1800s. which included variety acts and music, and often featured performers wearing blackface.
