Encyclopedia article about C. B. King, a prominent African American lawyer during the civil rights struggle in southwest Georgia. King attended Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee and the law school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. King practiced law for many years in his hometown of Albany, Georgia.The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata.
