Historic Images of the SmithsonianThis picture was used in a subsequent exhibit. The file contains four additional pictures.Statuary in the Hiram Powers studio in Florence, Italy, untouched since his death in 1873, as it appeared when purchased by the Smithsonian Institution in July 1967.
