Description
Two roosters face off across a river with a small Capitol Building depicted in the far distance. The near rooster represents the Union and is depicted as robust and proud and stands under an American flag. The far rooster stands under a skull and crossbones flag. This caricature was a well known stand in for the ""piratical"" confederacy and Jefferson Davis in particular.
