Office", and is dated "Monday, 18 May"Oliver Johnson thanks William Lloyd Garrison for his response concerning Johnson's invitation to join him at the Yearly Meeting of Progressive Friends, and for Garrison's promise to compose several testimonies for publication in the Independent. Johnson states that he met with R.D. Webb the previous evening, and that Webb's committment to attending the Yearly Meeting was uncertain due to potential familial obligations. Johnson informs Garrison that publication of the latter's article for the Independent will be again delayed, this time in favor of immediate publication of the aforementioned testimonies
