The file includes letters to and from the director and reports by investigators Fulton Tutor and L. E. Cole. Topics covered in the file include the Republic of New Africa; allegations of an African American man trying to reactivate a local Black Panther chapter; civil rights work in Greenwood, Hattiesburg, and Sardis, Mississippi; and the Medicaid program.The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata.
