1 map; 58 x 75 cm. A plat map of downtown Nashville, Tennessee and the surrounding area, originally published in 1908 by G. M. Hopkins Company, showing the various buildings, landscapes, acreage, and street routes for several blocks bound by Sixth Street, Shelby Avenue, Ninth Street and northwest of Main Street. Original building structures are depicted on the map, such as Edgefield Cumberland Presbyterian Church, the parsonage for Woodland Street Presbyterian Church; Russell Street Cumberland Presbyterian Church; Meigs High School , Warner Elementary School, Edgefield Baptist Church, and Braden Chapel (labeled as Colored Methodist Episcopal Church on the map). This plat map is reproduced from the source: Atlas of the city of Nashville, Tennessee : from official records, private plans and actual surveys, G. M. Hopkins, [Philadelphia, Pa.] 1908.
