The photograph features five man standing in back and five men seated in front with their hands in their laps. Houston is seated in the center in a more elaborate chair with scroll work decoration on the chair back and feet. All the men are wearing suit and ties except for the man seated on the left who is wearing a bow tie. The mat is white paper and has an inner border of ivory, brown, ivory, and white closest to the photograph.
