Description
Photograph of the grave of Carrie Steele Logan, founder of the Carrie Steele Orphan Home in Atlanta, Georgia in 1888. Logan died in 1900 at the age of seventy-one and was buried in Atlanta's Oakland Cemetery. The epitaph on her gravestone reads "The mother of orphans. She hath done what she could."
