Big Joe Turner, one of the great figures in R&B. Big Joe Turner began in boogie-woogie in the '30s and has since worked with many of the top jazz figures. In the '50s, he dazzled the rock world with his classic "Shake, Rattle and Roll," and the man is still shaking, rattling and rolling with the best of them. Photo dated: December 16, 1983.
