Description

Anonymous donor 2001.Uncle Sam shaves himself by using the reflection in his boot. The American eagle scares himself when he sees his reflection in the other boot. A framed picture on the wall shows the Frank Miller factory next to the elevated railway in New York City. Text on the bureau in the image reads "Freedman's Bureau." The card verso has images of Frank Miller's improved French Blacking and Crown Dressing for ladies and children's boots and shoes. Edward Henshaw is the agent at 48 High Street in Boston.
