This card, when presented at check-in, allows members of The Links, Inc to receive special rates at the Emily Morgan Hotel in San Antonio, Texas. It details the legend of the slave Emily Morgan (in reality, an indentured servant named Emily D. West) and her efforts in detaining Mexican General Santa Anna at the Battle of San Jacinto during the Texas Revolution. After the war ended, she was memorialized in the popular tune "The Yellow Rose of Texas."[3] p. ; 28 x 11 cm., folded to 14 x 11 cm.
