Records collected by the Mississippi Sovereignty Commission about the work and the report of the Mississippi State Legislature's investigative committee on the "occupation" of the University of Mississippi in September 1962 during the school's integration. The file contains a request for copies of the pamphlet, a preliminary report on the investigation, and a copy of the final report issued as a pamphlet.The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata.
