The man is holding a baby while reading the brochure, which promotes Republican candidate W. A. Glover. A woman is standing beside him, discussing the document (only her hand is visible); she is canvassing voters for the Lowndes County Freedom Organization. This image was taken for (but not used in) the photo spread "Black Panther Stalks Lowndes Victory," which appeared on page 3 of The Southern Courier for November 5-6, 1966.
