Left to Right: Judge Raymond Presiding at the 12th Annual Philadelphia Cotillion Society affair at Convention Hall. Judge Raymond Pace Alexander (1898-1974), first African American Common Pleas Court Judge in 1959, presents the Philadelphia Cotillion Society's ""The Cross of Malta, turquois and gold," to former Olympic Champion Wilma Rudolph (1940-1994) and Civil Rights Activist Arthur B. Spingarn (1878-1971). Actress Joan Crawford (1905-1977) formerly opened the Christmas Cotillion at Convention Hall, December 30, 1960.
