Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Samuel May, Jr. thanks William Lloyd Garrison for the "most beautiful note on [Garrison's] seventieth year", calling it a "transfiguration of [Garrison's] spirit", and declares his admiration for Garrison's "clear, strong faith". May states that Garrison's testimony to the "life, character, and spirit" of Helen Garrison is worthy of the both of them.
