Holograph, signedArrangements were finally made with Isaac Knapp; Knapp is in a "very miserable state of mind, and very much embittered in his feelings." Ellis Gray Loring and Samuel Philbrick were added to the finance committee for the Liberator. New subscribers will offset discontinuances. William Lloyd Garrison regrets that he is unable to be with George William Benson in Hartford. Garrison has to write the annual report for the meeting of the Massachusetts state society. If possible, Garrison will write a letter to S. S. Cowles to be read at the meeting in HartfordMerrill, Walter M. Letters of William Lloyd Garrison
