Description

Holograph, signedTitle devised by catalogerMargaret E. Parker writes (to an unknown correspondent) recounting her enjoyment of a temperance meeting at Wiers Landing, stating that the lakeside environment was a "dream of beauty". Parker states that she was given a "grand reception" upon her arrival in New York City by Susan B. Anthony, describing it as "brilliant" and declaring that on its basis of its appearance and pomp alone on could assume that she "had been a Queen"
