Recording of interview with Earl L. Luke, May 19, 2003, in Savannah, Georgia. He talks about growing up and race relations in the Ben Van Clark neighborhood in Savannah.At the time of the interview, Earl L. Luke was a retiree and native Savannahian. He was a graduate of St. Pius X Catholic High School, which closed in 1971 after being in existence for twenty years. The school was located on Anderson Street on Atlantic Avenue one block over from Henry Street.
