Iowa is widely noted for the nrm- ber and high character of its educa- tionul institution, but there is not in 9II Iowa a home or dormitory for the col¬ ored students. The committee urges everyone who has received a subscription card to All it out and return to chairman at once. Those who have not, committee will mail cards to you or send in j'our dona¬ tion to chairman of «onimittec. The Mary Church Tcrril Club of Des Moines heads the honor roll of Chiba. Christian Culture Club of Washington is second. The Grand Lodge of Knights of linights of Pythiatis and Court Cal- nnthe made generous donation at tholf ii.eeiiiig in Cedar Hapids la^t iVetiK and are first on honor roll of lodges. Kov. C. P. Jones of Osceola is the only minister iu the state enrolled thns far in the drive. The people must awaken.
