SCAR T-2: Mrs. Sadie Nickpeay Col, Sound. Mrs. Sadie Nickpeay is interviewed by Dr. Grace Jordan McFadden of the University of S. C. Nickpeay describes the historical role of midwives and their importance to state. She reveals the part played by black colleges as training centers for midwives. She tells of the education of midwives. Mrs. Nickpeay demonstrates methods and instruments used by midwives for child delivery.
