The two discuss the company's founding, its inaugural production, "Zooman;" the company's acting workshops, and their efforts to get more black actors working in local theater companies. They also discuss the local talent pool of black actors, the national landscape for black theater actors, Mays's playwriting, and the future of Black Folks Theater Company.
