You said she has 30 in one group and 15 in another— please let me know if I should refer to them as series/. And what is the medium? I am sorry that we were unable to/be involved in the sculpture from New Orleans. Schedules for suon exhibits are often filled a year or two in advance. Quickly ^tried to look up the book you referred to — Catlett by Samella Lo-u-i-s- and did not find it in Books in Print or Forth Coming Books — do you have any more information such as publisher or date of publication? We have a number of very special exhibitions for Black History 1984- Willie Birch will be at Model Cities, Al Loving at Miami Lakes, Betye Saar and her daughters Alison and Lezley will be showing books at South Dade Regional. Donald Crew and John Steptoe, two wonderful Black illustrators will have work at the North and South Dade Regional Libraries. Judith Wilson, who is working on her PhD at Yale with Robert Thompson and has written for MS, Essence, Art in America, the Village Voice, Museum, etc., will~~be here for lectures at the community colleges.
