An Alabama businessman says he's interested in buying the Minnesota Twins. Donald Watkins is a practicing attorney and Chairman of the Board for Alamerica Bank in Birmingham, Alabama. He is reportedly worth 1.5 billion dollars. Watkins, who would be the first African-American to own a major league baseball team, has put in an application to buy the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, but he says Minnesotans have drawn his attention to the Twins.
