Description
Victoria Pinany is a forty-six year old widow, whose husband passed away a month after he was baptized a member of the LDS Church. She was raised in an irreligious home, baptized into the FJKM Church, and educated at Catholic schools. She turned to a Kung Fu master to help her alcoholic brother. She does not practice witchcraft, though her in-laws did. As a member of the LDS Church, she is devoted to temple work as it means her family can be sealed together. She discusses her marriage, widowhood, single parenting, self reliance, and trusting God has a plan for her. She admires Lehi’s dream and Nephi’s obedience. She has been a Relief Society President and a self-reliance teacher, though she hopes to become more self-reliant herself in the future.
