(11/11/1973) Black Renaissance hosted by Samuel (Sam) Skinner and his wife Regina Skinner. This episode is about black directors and writers, specifically Sandra Richards (dir) and John Palmer (writer) of the Black Repertory Theater and the production of three act plays: ‚Contribution,‚ ‚Happy Ending,‚ and ‚Unjust Dessert‚. Palmer discusses his experience as a black man in Western Europe in the 60s. Richards discusses her role as a female director and the sexism she deals with amongst others in her theater. She also discusses her artistic process. Palmer talks about fraternity culture within the black community. Followed by partial broadcast of speeches on signing of nuclear peace treaty (Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons).
