Description

Message from Night Raiders that condemns the poor treatment of African Americans by American society and the United States government. Also, citizens' tax money should not support the unjust Vietnam War, and there is a reference to the bombing of Vietnamese civilians while urging young draftees to burn their draft cards. "Refuse obedience to officials who condone joblessness and ghettos NOT HIGHER TAXES but less military adventurism - Bring the boys home NOW!--BURN DRAFT CARDS NOT PEOPLE!--FANSHEN Stickers/Box 1331 New Brunswick N.J. 08903"--Night Raiders is a group of U.S. political stickers from the '60s and ‘70s protesting the Vietnam War and U.S. imperialism, and calling for racial equality among blacks and whites. "Night Raiders" here may refer to military "night riders" and civilian vigilante "Knight Riders" of the Ku Klux Klan, as well as "freedom riders" during the U.S. civil rights era.
