This video contains offensive language. Video of Mabel Cawthorn at home, part 5 of 5. Cawthorn talks about her working life, working primarily in cotton mills. She could run two spools in the cotton mills, when most people could only run one. She also plowed mules and picked blackberries and sold them for income. She talks about her arrest for selling marijuana to an undercover Georgia Bureau of Investigation agent, and serving an 11-month sentance at the state prison Hardwick, Georgia. She describes her experience at the prison, and the people she met. A former husband, who was an alcoholic, made moonshine.
