Description
Part two of a two-part recording. Art Rosenbaum records the Gospel Chorus of the Greater Macedonia Church of Athens, Georgia, rehearsing at Doc and Lucy Barnes' house. The chorus members include Deacon Reuben Gates, Sister Ella Mae Rice, Sister Clyde Gilmore, Deacon Andrew Ferrell, Sister Annie Will Jewell, Mavis Moon, Sister Lucy Barnes, and Deacon Brady Barnes. Clyde Gilmore recites a Prohibition-era poem about the dangers of drinking, and sings "City of Refuge." The group sings "I Just Wrote To Tell You."Record Contributed By
