Description

This scrapbook, created by student members of the Young Women's Christian Association, contains materials relating to the 1932-1933 school year at Woman's College of the University of North Carolina (now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro). Scrapbook contents include Worship Service programs and introductory remarks for introducing George Washington Carver (May 12, 1933). The scrapbook also includes a photograph of George Washington Carver with YMCA Secretary Jim Hardwick, taken May 12, 1933, and a photograph of attendees at the YWCA Conference at Black Mountain, North Carolina.
