Holograph, signedCaroline Weston begins the letter with a long explanation of why she didn't write a letter about the unexpected arrival of Henry and Maria Chapman from Haiti. The Chapmans had both been sick. She tells about their experiences in Haiti. Richard D. Webb sent the manuscript, of the longest work Daniel O'Connel ever published, to the abolitionists for sale
