Description
Emery Wister, a journalist and editor at the Charlotte News, recounts his life and experiences in Charlotte, North Carolina. He describes growing up on the edge of the Brooklyn neighborhood in Charlotte and discusses local race relations and the role of urban renewal in displacing members of the community.
