Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Letter addressed from Anti-Slavery Office.Johnson expresses his regrets that Garrison was unable to journey to New York the previous weekend, and offers his sympathies for Garrison's poor health. Johnson informs Garrison that he has received a notice announcing that Garrison will be speaking the following week at the Cooper Institute, and requests that Garrison confirm this appearance prior to his publicizing it in the Standard.
