Description
Dwight Graves was born and grew up in Freeman, West Virginia. He attended Bluestar High School, transferring to Bramwell High School with the integration of the school system. After attending Bluefield State College in Bluefield, West Virginia, Rev. Graves joined the U.S. Air Force. He served in Japan, Thailand, and the Philippines before coming to Dobbins Air Reserve Base. Graves received a Masters degree in Theology and founded Emmanuel Tabernacle Christian Church in Marietta, Georgia, in 1997. He has held various leadership positions in the Southern Christian Leadership Conference.Interviewed by Eric Mez and Matt Bell in Marietta, Georgia on November 2, 2009.
