Description

Forest, MississippiI am an educator. However, I also work with many community groups and handle a number of church-related activities. In addition, I have committed much of my life to developing and managing housing and to developing economic opportunities for citizens of our community.Archie Savage and Martin L. King, Jr.Working with and helping the youth and the senior adults of our city.Milwaukee must make our city safe for our children. The willingness to protect our children is a moral litmus test of any decent and compassionate society. This city cannot continue to compete and prosper in this country when a large number of our children live in poverty and grow up under- educated. We cannot continue to squander the talents of our children. If this is continued, Milwaukee will become a city of limited human potential. Milwaukee must become a city of opportunity for every child. Each of us has an integral part in achieving this better community. Mine will be to continue to work with our citizens in housing, education and economic development.Milwaukee Public Schools (Art teacher and guidance counselor - John Muir Middle School; Teacher - Fritsche Middle School; Teacher - Oliver Wendell Holmes Elementary School; Teacher - Center Street Elementary School); Treasurer - NAACP - Milwaukee branch; Calvary Baptist Church - President; Calvary Housing Development (benefiting low-income seniors and the disabled).
