Mrs. Geo. Patt^son died at her home, 512 Mfeid^ Lane, at 2:80 Mon¬ day morning. She was 79 years old and had been a Christian since thir¬ teen years of age. The funeral waa held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 from the A. M. E. church, Rev. Hub¬ bard officiating. To the bereaved, Mr. Geo. Patterson, husband; Mrs. Mar¬ ian Butler, of Minneapolis, Mrs. Car¬ rie Jackson of Clinton, Iowa, Mrs, Dora Patterson of Iowa Cit^, and Mr. A. T. Huston of Rock island, 111., and to her other relatives we extend ou) ' sympathy. I Christian Endeavor was well at¬ tended last Sunday evening. The Q. L. U. I. met with Mis3 Southall last week.
