Description
The club was formed in 1897, with the motto "Lifting As We Climb." The theme for 1962-1963 was "Evaluation of the Progress of Negro Woman During the Centennial," and the theme for 1963-1964 was "Accepting the Challenge of the Future Progress of Negro Women."
